The 4x4 Adventure club is a gathering of a friendly group of people from all walks of life, with an emphasis on adventure and responsible four wheel driving. Promoting outdoor adventure and discovering this beautiful land is one of our main missions.
Ours is a family orientated club, where every member and the member’s family are treated with respect and dignity. This is not a ‘manne’ club, and everyone is welcome to participate. This is reflected in our programs, by us not only 4x4-ing, but touring and camping too.
We have the vehicles, we have the country – lets use it. As our informal saying goes – If you’re not living on the edge, you’re taking up too much space. We must have fun, as life is too short to miss the wonderful opportunities our country offers us.
We are a club that promotes safety, resource conservation, Advocating of good outdoor principles and behavior. Thereby treading lightly to encourage a better understanding of off-roading and responsible driving at all times.
Take only pictures and leave only responsible tyre prints.
Most of our members are professionals, independent people. Owners and Directors, Doctors and IT Professionals etc... this forms the majority base of our membership and have brought diversified experiences with them from years of four-wheeling and exploring, that adds up to a wealth of benefits to new members and to those considering membership. We keep an open mind for new ideas and experiences to keep our club fresh and exciting. With this in mind, we are constantly growing.
It doesn't matter what type of vehicle you own, our Club is built on the people and not what kind of rigs they drive.
We are not a ‘challenge’ club, (other than organized competitions) neither are we out to break, damage or wreck our vehicles (although incidents can happen) and do not advocate irresponsible driving techniques. The club has a range of guides who have suitable training and experience, who either assist or lead trails, so as to ensure safety and enjoyment.
We emphasize the need to tread lightly in our environments so that future generations can also enjoy the outdoors in their leisure pursuits.
Our trips range from day trip to couple of days, with anything in-between, the destinations varying right across this beautiful country.
